i had the same experience … high cholesterol in my whole family that resolved completely once we became vegan (& i don’t think it was all just a coincidence … xoxo
yes, vegan means no more bad cholesterol issues. and…Dangerwinn…thanks for the compliment! I do think the Korean blood in me helps me stay young too, along with meditation, yoga, exercise, healthy diet, and happy positive thinking.
My husband had a similar cholesterol experience. He gained a lot of weight in college and had ridiculously high cholesterol. Doctors wanted to put him on Lipitor but he decided to go vegetarian instead. He lost weight (he’s still heavy, but no more cholesterol problems).
my dad is a doctor(an emergency room doctor) and he has to give bad news to patients all the time. but maybe there is something wrong that is too hard to explain over the phone. or he needs to explain some kind of new medication he's gonna put you on. if you have any questions maybe its easier to talk about it in person. it does sound like it could be bad news but be positive, but ready for the worst. that way you're equally prepared.

I wouldn't say that baby talk is bad however talking to them in the language that they would later develop can be very helpful since they will learn from what is being taught to them specially from parents, I suggest that baby talk be left out. I have 2 yr. old nieces, twins and from birth baby talk wasn't aloud.
I did that today. I said "We need to talk now" and made him come into the kitchen. Then he looked worried and I said "SO, since YOUR parents are coming for lunch tomorrow you have to decide what will be cooked." I think he was so glad that I wasn't divorcing him that he quickly agreed. Nothing is that easy anymore..

Explain to her that you need to hear some positive things from her that you do occasionally rather than all the things you do wrong. (Unless you NEVER do anything right, and then that's just on you.)
